Thank you

Our work in our midweek Soup Kitchen continues during the pandemic, and we would just like to say a big THANK YOU to all those who have donated and continue to donate to this cause.

Last week saw people in the community continuing to show generosity with donations of cakes and hand-knitted woolly hats, as well as financial contributions previously received.

Thank you on behalf of the team and all our guests.

Coronavirus statement – January 2021

From: Rev David Jones
Dear members and friends of Greenfield.

Due to the increasing concern within our community as our country sees an increase in the spread of the Corona Virus, we have made a decision as Minister and officers of the church not to continue our Sunday morning service in the chapel for the foreseeable future.

I am sorry that we had to make this decision as we have welcomed many worshippers since we re-opened following the first Lockdown in September. Under the present circumstances it would be unwise and certainly against the advice given by the Baptist Union if we were to continue public worship.

We will continue our Sunday worship with 11am and 5pm Sunday Services on YouTube & Facebook and 6pm Conference call service by ‘phone. Hopefully we will be able to return to normal Sunday worship in the chapel as soon as the restrictions are lifted.

Due to the latest guidance and directives from the Welsh Government concerning the increase in Covid-19 infection, Greenfield has had to close it`s doors for normal worship for a further period of two weeks.

Online streamed services will continue as normal (both YouTube and Facebook), so we hope you will be able to join us for our regular Sunday and Tuesday services. Detail HERE >>>
